At modul arrangements the narrow gauge track has sometimes to change within the standard gauge track. You need a transition track.

Today Friedhelm and I checked H0n3 engines. I had built a test track. I made the drawings with different radii, glued the paper to foam board, glued the ties and soldered the rail.

Then we tested different engines.

Large 2-8-2s (like K-36 and K-37) 18 inch radius, happier with 22
Med 2-8-2s (like K-28) happy with 18
Blackstone K-27s 14 inch radius, look better and are happier with 18
big 2-8-0s (like C-25) 16 to 18 inches
small 2-8-0s (like C-16s and C&S) 12 to 15 inches, happier at 15
0-6-0s and 0-4-0s, shays, etc really tight curves to the point they look like tinplate
