Silver Creek stub switches

I wanted at least two stub switches. Especially the wye switch, turnout no. 7 should be a stub switch. With a stub switch the "throw bar" is not at the "point". And this switch is placed at the end of the module! With a stub switch I get the "throw bar" away from the module end.

Here you see switch no. 6, the switch to the mine spur. This switch will get a "3 position switch stand for stub switches". Therefore there's only one 16'6'' long tie.

Down under! Here's my "throw bar". You can use any throw bar actuation, Blue Point Turnout Controller, Fast Tracks Bullfrog, what you want. I need only a switch, brass rods and some small material, very less expensive.

BTW, that's our dog in the background.

The first train to Silver Creek

The first two cars are built from kits and modified.

D&RGW idler flat car from Micro Engineering

... and a lot of lead.

With 30' these cars should weight 65 g (2.3 ounces) following NMRA RP-20.1 Car Weight.

Well, the flat car weights 55 g (2 oz); this gon 60 g (2.1 oz).

Main Line Models "Ye Olde Huff-N-Puff"

This car has got a deck from lead, too.

Narrow gauge line

Now I've combined all H0n3 modules. The track is painted and a paper model of the station gives some ideas.
