WESTPORT TERMINAL RR

July 2010

I like critters. So I've scratch built a GE 25-ton (Scale Rails, March 2010).

This gave me the idea how to make the Grandt Line kit a good runner.

The BullAnt has got a brass plate. This fits into the base instead off the Grandt Line part.

I've managed to accommodate some lead.

After a break I added the small parts, railings, bell, horn ...

A test of the driving unit, I've used a left over frame from my first 25-ton.

And again the airbrush, frame black, hood and cabin a greenish color.

And now the lights ...
The very intesiv filed LEDs get feeder wires, nearly under during controll. The decoder gets two sub mini PC boards for the 1.5kOhm resistors and as pad for the wires.

The speaker fits under the roof (with some trimming), like with my first 25-ton. And the frame has more space for lead. So I've got a weight of 100 g. I glued the lead with a tiny spot of CA, this way I can take out the lead if necessary.
